I got the flick down so good I can do double kickflips, BUT my back foot won't land on the board only my front foot will. Help?

Practice with just your back foot and just your front foot, like practice three times with you back foot only landing on the board then the other foot only landing on the board, this is how I learned, hope I could help

I would say to remember that half of his trick is an ollie, think of it as an ollie with a different kick. That's how I got it.

What helped me is to remember to lift your back foot straight up above the board after you pop and keep it hovering there till your board has flipped fully

Did you try purposely taking your back foot off before? Because you could have muscle.

Jump forward onto your board. I think of it as a sidestep jump type of motion where you slam your rear foot down and bring your front foot up and out. Since you have your flick down, try working more on the jumping aspect of it and jumping higher over your board like you would an ollie. Bend your back foot knee a lot too and try to stay over your board.

You are not jumping... You are just poping and flicking. You need to jump!!!!

Lean more forward and stay center with the board and it should stay under your feet

I had the same problem
But try and lift your back foot higher up
You got this?

I had the same problem, try jumping up higher so you can put both feet on the board.

Dude the same exact thing happened to me when I was learning shoves. You really just have to commit to it, even if it means falling

Try jumping into it

Put some more weight on your front toes and just commit by bringing that back foot up, almost exaggerating how much it should up

Stand parallel with yout shoulders to your board and dont flip it away. Do a clean flick out off to concave. And dont be afraid. Its mainly a thing in your head i guess. Sry for bad english im from germany

Just jump up and commit

It's probably because you are not committing enough or you learned by just landing with one foot (muscle memory).

Try leaning forwards a little more angle is almost everything

It is mostly a commitment problem with most people try doing like a ninja kick when you try them and don't be afraid to land in the board

Balance is very important. If your not at your sweet spot balance wise the board turns. Keep balance and confidence, then youll see progress

Lift your back foot higher and I don't really slide that much cos it pushes the board out I kinda kick down
Jump higher that might help :-)
Just keep trying and then you will get your back foot on
Just slam it with you back door and catch it in the air
All you got to do is pop your board quickly and lift up your back foot then flick
try to bend your back knee
When you flick and jump make sure you jump strsight and keep your stance. Dont turn your body because then your back foot wont land. Just jump straight
If you can stomp you back foot down I got my back foot on good but not my front
The first thing is your not supposed to flick ldown your supposed to flick twards the edge of the nose amd then off. I know it seems weird and it will feel very different but thats the correct way yo kick flip and for doubles you do the same thing juts position your foot lower
Just committe
You're either leaning back too far or kicking forward too much, first try changing the angle you kick at
well put your foot right under the bolts like an inch or two down form the bolts and lift your back foot up just commit to it just send it if you fall you fall just get back up and lift your back foot up you pit it down to early
Just lift up your back foot higher and stay centered with your board
Stay confident!
Be quicker faster and commit
Bend your back knee
Keep ur arms leveled with your feet so u land straight and flick towards the corner of the board where the curve starts
I know it doesn't feel like it's that simple but just commit like that's 100 percent it don't worry about the flick anymore and JUST focus on the landing
Put you're back foot on the board
You could be leaning to far back. When I started doing kick flips I had the same problem. But don't lean to far forward or you front foot won't come on
Hi, exercize with back leg only, do this movement only with this leg for a lot of time . In time it will work together... good luck
Try to flick up then flick down that will help the board to rotate ones and have good pop so you can catch it
Just jump as high as u can this will give u time to place ur foot where it needs to go
you are flicking down put your foot farther up on your board and flick up and pick your back foot up the board won't spin as fast
After the fleek, Try to bind your knees as hard as you can, for the first time it's gonna be scary, but then you'll feel the timing and it won't be scary
Pratice everyday.
When you flip it stay over the board dont kick it in front of you or to the side and commit
Maybe also try to slide your back foot backwards, that helps the rotation and your back foot catching it
Make sure you're popping down then springing up with both feet. Back foot needs air too
Just keep and try and try fighting spirit must be here.
Try to practise flipping the deck but instead of landing just with your front foot get used to doing the same thing but once you've flicked it but your front foot down on the ground and land your back foot on the deck and then when your computable doing it just commit to it and land with both feet
My advice to you is to commit or if you are flicking down that could be a problem
Commit
Honestly watch Danny Duncan's kick flip video on YouTube
make sure your jump up with your back foot
Make sure when you pop and jump to keep your back foot closer to the board or when u do it do a sexchange that helped me
Only bend your knee
Dont concentrate on the flick work on riding poping and ollies. I didnt want to fall but i did. I could have broken my arm again but i put commitment into it.😊 hope it helped
You do jump on your board like a shovits
Hold on something first like ledges do Kickflip 2 times when you land it try it not holding into something
So you want to pop then scoop your foot up
I don't really know how to describe it Land like your doing and olile
jump higher
Just practice lifting your back foot after you flick. You probably just got in a habit of putting your foot down. Just jump strait up and lift your back foot👍
Keep ur shoulders parallel and focus on flicking as far as ur legs possible can go
Lean to the centre of your board an try to lift your backfoot high as possible.
Lean forward
Lean a bit foreward if you land behind your board
Me too
Just try to keep it under you
Commitment problem just dont bitch out
Practice by just landing with ur back foot
Try just landing your back foot on the board and then do both good luck
I have the same probleme
Sucks to hear it but the best way is more practice good job on getting the flick down though
Try flicking up and you can hold a handrail to make it more simple.
Jump
It’s a commitment issue so either full send or practice just landing your back foot on then add it front foot on slowly
Push you back foot back when you pop. That's what helped me land mine.
Try to pop more and flick slower
Try it o pop more and flick less
Yeah so I had the same problem you need to pop harder and dont flick as hard because that makes it move around and shoot out.. you have to be able to control the flick and pop and then you can flick harder after you get it...
Try to half flip it and land in a dark catch with both feet and get used to landing with both before you fully flip. Have fun 🛹👍
Commit and go for it
Keep your body central and bend your knees so your centre of gravity is lower
Commit
Go for it... seems like the problem is that you are not comitting
Try to get your front foot higher and flick up
Don’t lean back and lean forward
Google
Lean forward, and pop toward the back
commit
If your getting double kickflips ur flicking to much and you might be flicking down based on what you said. Try flicking up and JUMP higher!
Help me I have same problem
Try with just your back
Practice landing with your back foot
When is it that your front foot is the pnly pêne to land on the board on double kick?
1 jump higher, 2 be sure that board is under you
When you pop, “scoop” the tail backward, so to your right (regular) or to the left (goofy), this might help
Watch the ccs video on kickflips. Flick out from the pocket and pop. Literally a more advanced Ollie.
Practise landing with only your back foot
Pratise only landing on your back foot
Commit Ig
let the back foot to jump higher, lift it up
Stay leveled over the board and jump back a lil bit more you will land it.
Flick a little less so you land on the bottom and then once you get used to that just flick a bit more

Same problem bro
