I can't seem to get the flick down. Like my board won't fully rotate. Also my board flies out in front of me.

You need to pop the board more... Slam it like real fucking hard. Also keep ur back foot on the board before u flick and jump after. Ur flicking but not jumping... Be like Micheal Jordan jump high as fuck

Stay on top of your board and keep most of the weight on your front foot until the pop. Use you ankle more than your leg for the flick and DO NOT PUSH DOWNWARDS, if you keep the flick nice and concentrated you shouldn't have any issues with the board flying forward.

Make sure to put your foot just down from the bolts not off to the side of the board, and flick up and offer to the left or right of the board depending if you're goofy or regular

Literaly just sit whith your board in the position like you just popes but just practice dragging your foot to get the muscle memory of the flick then just try to land with your front foot once you got that all you have to do then is lift your back foot and land it this helped me to land them and always remember to center your weight

You can also try to flick more to the side, I had the same problem and this fixed my flick.

play around with your front foot position so you can flick properly. also try to keep your balance, you're probably leaning too far back right now which results in the board flying away from you

See jarod told u ^
And you want to flik up not down
For me I am unable to get the full rotation unless I bend down right before I pop. Also make sure you slide your foot as you pop.
Tightin your trucks
Sounds strange but try sanding down the area of your grip where you flick. Sometimes it’s hard when learning and you are tying to flick but all it does is stick to your foot and fly in front of you. Sanding it makes it less grippy you can use offcuts of griptape
Watch braille😂
Put more pressure on your front leg so the board doesn’t go out in front of you
Try to keep your body leveled out and flick a little harder to get the rotation
The reason the board flies out in front of you is because you have all of your weight on your back foot lean more towards the front.
When you pop pull you back foot back. And point your front foot more.
I got kickflips down yesterday. One thing that helps me is putting half your foot off the board and flicking it diagonal.
