How do I keep my back foot on the board? I know it's a committment issue, but is there anything I can do to make it easier for me to commit?

If it helps think about letting your momentum take you upwards and slightly rotating your hips and keeping your body on top of the board. Other than this I know there are parks with really small rails that might make it easier to commit at first and the more comfortable you get the easier it will become.
Practice popping on stationary and sitting on top of it for a second. If you can do that (which is arguably harder to balance) then you should be fine. Obviously this doesn’t work for down rails.
Try hold hard with your hands
Keep trying
You can learn it you have to learn ollie
I, think you can do it
Do it dude
do it while standing next to it and land a bit in your knees. this gives you more time and smaller hight.
Wut helped me was I kinda just practiced doing moving 180s over and over. Then when I tried to bs, all i did was do the 180 movement and pretend the rail didn't exist, then once u do it it's hella easy to do it again
Yes
Yes there is! You can stand next to the rail and try to 180 up onto the rail and kind stall on the rail for a little bit it also helps with balance
