Smack the tail and slide your front foot up. It all has to occur in one motion. Don't give up, it takes time.

Pop with the ankle of your back foot and slide your front foot up as if you are kicking something in front of you.

The thing that most people forget is that popping and sliding isnt gonna get you in the air. You also need to jump forward and up because the board won't just lift you. Also practice a lot.

Thx
try to emphasize jumping in your head
R u trying it on a penny
Ya im doing on a penny board
If you're doing it on a penny board, you should get a real board. However, on a penny when I Ollie, my feet are in a kickflip position with the front foot at a 45 degree angle and my back on the tail. Then, you do the same steps
As a regular ollie
Take your time don't drag while you pop take it slow and easy. Practise
I'm not the best but doing the steps separately and then combining them really helped me
Try to hit the tail to the ground and jump as you slide you foot..
Spap it harder
Pop with the ball of your foot.
What ever you do, learn it moving you will regret learning it staying still later.
Watch Braille's video and do their drill.
Bend your knees all the way until your chest is basically touching them. Force all your weight now and smack the tail down, and then focus on getting your sliding foot all the way to the nose of the board

Learn what I call a "SeaSaw Ollie" put pressure on the tail and jump then start sliding your foot.
Make sure your tail hits the ground
If you canβt get oof the ground remember that you pop with you ankle not you hole leg and that you need to drag up with the side of your foot
