How do you launch your self over an object ?

Lift your legs up and tuck them and push of the object with your hands.

Speed by running. Then, transfer that speed into height by pushing with your hands on the obstacle that you're konging off of. You'll go further ;)
The Kong is always scary. But it's ok, you're taking the obstacle on. Start a good distance away from the obstacle. In the run up, think of diving ONTO the obstacle, and moving OVER it. The hips here are key, so make sure you stretch these and open them up. After you dive and land on the obstacle with your hands, you should be aiming to move your hips OVER YOUR HEAD. The rest follows: just make sure you exit with the aim of being upright again. Start low and keep practising.
Depends, if it's a small ledge will no length just jump forward, if it's a bench or long object iuvneed to thrust forward and also push off the object
