Should I learn to balance on each foot or can I choose my favorite one?

If you want you can. But first start with you favorite one. It's a good idea to learn it on each foot, because it can help you later for some tricks.

It all depends on how you ride, I'd suggest balancing with your front foot first SK if you ride regular(left foot forward) blanace on that and vice versa for goofy

If u push off with ur left then ur left foot should be the one hanging off the side of the board

choose your favorite one, you will either be goofy( right foot forward) or regular( left foot forward). but after you feel comfortable on your favorite start to balance on the other one.

Use your favourite, it'll be a more useful.

it's all up to preference. if you are goofy footed like I am than it would actually probably be dangerous to balance on your left. but if it's important to you than go for it. It would be really cool.

Learn it with your front one so when you are goofy the right and regular with the left!! If you can do both good it doesn't matter witch you choose;-)

Learning on both would definitely be cooler.

I found it easiest to just to use the front foot I would typically use when longboarding.
it's better to learn with both but just choose your favourite and consentrate on this one.
Yes learn to balance with both but start with your front foot
You should really balance on your main riding foot ;)
Yes
If you practice your most dominant one then you'll be better with one foot then the other but it's much better to practice your less dominant one then you'll have better balance overall
It is up to you
you can choose
You should, it is always good to switch the tricks :)
I would start with the one you are comfortable with.
Learn first whith your favorite
I always use whatever foot is in front because that is almost always going to be your most balanced foot
It doesnt matter
U can choose ur favorite
It's your choice really
You could learn both and switch during your ride
Yes, of course.
You should mainly try to use your main foot to balance :-)
I think you should learn to balance on both feet, it will help you learn more tricks later on.
YOU should keep the balance with the foot on the board
I'd practise with both as when you come on to doing tricks it will help your stability and make you feel more comfortable and balanced.
Yes. It's better to learn how to do it when you begin practicing because it's easier. You don't really have too much skill with any stance so there is no major diff. Be advise that it could be a little bit boring anyway.
Ur favorite or both it really doesn't matter
You don't have to, however knowing how to balance on both feet will help you further with other tricks. (:
First learn it with the front foot on the board as when u push, the pushing foot will stay off. Once u can do this learn the other foot if u want.
You can choose your best foot
You can choose you favorite one
Start with learning with u comfortable foot then if u need to u can learn with your other foot
Usually your front foot is more important but the other one can be after a few slides that can switch which foot is front
Wtvr u prefer, your favorite one is fine too
I would do both, could come in handy with some more advanced tricks I think.
Try both feet first, witch ever is comfortable try mastering that foot first than later try feeling comfortable with your other.
Balancing on each foot would help a lot.
For now you can choose but for further more complex tricks you will need to learn to balance both feet. Therefore it's wiser to learn both feet
Choose your destiny (Any foot 😶)
Choose any foot you would want, just choose the one your more confident with...
Yes
You can choose whichever foot your more comfortable with. But it’s mostly preference.
I think you should start with your favorite foot then you can move on from there.
Whatever suits you
Favorite one
Favorite one
First with your favorite, then with both.
Ride with the foot you find easier! When you feel comfortable and understood how it works, try to ride switch!
Use your Favorite foot.
I would use your standing foot at first and then master both feet after.
Definitely start with the favored side, but learning both will help you in the long run as you may find yourself flipped 180, riding switch, fakie, etc. One is a good basis, both is preferable.
In my opinion both. It’s better for your balance and for some of the dance trick it realy works out.
Choose your own regular or goofy either one is better for everyone
Perfectly on both to heel more comfortable while you’ll learn other tricks
I recommend at first choose one
I would try learning both just to make it easier in the long run or try learning switch
I just use the foot I push with
