My board always stops when step off the board. What causes this?

you might be going too slow. when i practiced this the board would stop since i would be going at a relatively slow speed. try going a little faster on your board before trying the move.

No !! Any wd40 its going to destroy your bearings !

Try and practice nudging the board forward when you are stepping off

It could possibly be bad bearings or tight wheels, you should try taking your bearings out and putting WD40 on them (or change them all together), when putting wheels back on, tighten the nuts precisely until the wheel stops sliding along the axel. If it's not hardware, make sure you give the board a small boost with your foot so it stays along side you. That should help I hope!

yup, the board might be going too slow! i faced the same problem but after i picked up some speed and momentum, the trick worked fine. you just need to go faster on your board.

Maybe try to pushing it a little bit with the tip of the back foot. I had the same problem, but i resolved It in this way

Like mentioned before, you're probably going too slow. More speed will do the trick (: I'd like to add that WD40 in bearings is NOT a good idea, like Johann mentioned. While the WD40 itself doesn't destroy bearings, the lack of lubricant will eventually cause damage. WD40 is not a lubricant and in fact has degreasing properties. Also, the residue of it might attract dirt and dust, which we all know is a killer for bearings.

Maybe you are waiting to long while peforming the first step zo you lose kinetic energy in the waiting before stepping
You cause it with your leggs
Bad barring, wheel nut too tight.
That happens to me because I’m trying to learn it too. I’ve noticed that when I go faster it doesn’t stop. Hope that helps!
You're probably going too slow. I had the same problem too and i figured out you just have to drive faster.
always try to push your board forward a little bit with the foot still on the board before you jump off. don’t push it too much or it’ll be going to quickly.
It's a good idea to push the board a little when you release your feet
You might be pushing it back in the jump. watch your feet to make sure you don't kick the board back when you jump forward:)
