I tried to learn it first with insanely loose trucks but tightening them a half rotation made it so mich easier. Also i think the key is to be comfortable and not to stress out. Do it freely and quickly. Doing it slow made me fail after the second step always.

You don’t have to take a lot of speed, but if you don’t have enough, you will fall. It’s quite scary at the first time. You must find the most convenient speed for you and start training it ! Have a nice time learning this base, you will be proud of yourself when you’re be able to master it 😉

I started with tight trucks and low speed.. Later.. when you get the point, you’ll loosen your trucks. :)

It is probably easier with loose trucks because it’ll give you the turning feel you need for the trick and start at a comfortable pushing speed
