Is drop through longboards is good for freestyle and sliding? I just bought bustin maestro 6. And I had sector 9 blue wave before.

Yeah, it's OK for learning. You might want to change it if you get more advanced tho
I have a drop through and I use it more for downhill, if you wanna get sliding and freestyle down, I'd suggest a drop down board, as the board allows for your feet to get that extra grip
I started with adrop through but now I prefer flat boards - freeride and downhill. Just try and find out what you like more!
Drop through are used for staying closer to the ground giving you more stability. They are great for downhill, but work well for sounding and freestyle.
The lower to the ground and bigger the tail the better they r for freestyle so yes
Drop through is better for dh, that's for sure, it's kind of hard to learn some tricks on such deck, it could be too heavy and u will be disappoint that's some cool tricks doesn't work but I totally sure that u can do them
Sorry I didn't see your comment yep sure the drop through is easier for freestyle and sliding. My Board is the deviant of the mark Never Summer. The problem is then she is really heavy for freestyle it's better for freeride my seller (and friend) tell me that. But for the weight you can get used to it. Now for the maestro I think it's a good choice can you send me the detail (size, weight, flex etc...)
I started with a cruising setup as it turned out later and learned quite well a lot of tricks soo yeah drop through can be used too, check originals apex decks
Drop throughs are good for turning and sliding, yes. Just make sure you're stable.
Drop through decks work good for sliding providing stability, but for freestyle try a downhill with a kick tail
Ya it's ok since it has good stability
best board ive had for freestyle is a kicktail look at the bustin royce pro
it’s good for sliding but for freestyles not as much.
Main nice thing about drop through is that they're just lower if you haven't added risers. Means you're more stable due to lower center of gravity. I also find though that you get a little more drag because of this though; I don't catch as much speed on my drop through as I do on my cruiser with risers. Definitely a great board for beginners though.
I have a drop through longboard and i am able to do freestyle on it, so i think so
