After you initiate the slide, do you still put pressure on your front heel or do you keep the board „even“?

Well you don’t want the pressure on each foot to be even because they your board will be going completely sideways and that will flatspot your wheels. Just keep in mind that wherever you turn your shoulders your board will start to follow. You want your board to be somewhere between completely horizontal and backwards when you’re trying to hold out the slide. Try to stay in that sweet spot and you will avoid flat spots and hold out your slides as long as possible.
