Dude honestly there isnt something Xtreme or dangerous so you can fall it's just like pedaling backwards if you have a cassette!
Just sit on your bike and push it backwards without your feet on your pedals and try to hold the balance. You will see..there is nothing dangerous!

Honestly, the only thing you can do is tell yourself that you can do it. It took me a while to learn them but if you just commit and tell yourself you can do it, you will get it. Don't be afraid. The worst thing that happens is your bike falls but odds are, you aren't gonna get hurt. Hope this helps at least a little bit.
Try it on a small ramp then go bigger
You just have to do it, approach the ramp at about jogging pace because the more speed the more balance. There isnt much that can go wrong when faking out, worst is probably falling softy on your palms but ive never experienced that. This trick does take time, took me about 1-2 weeks
Your not gonna get hurt if you feel you are falling just jump of
Wear a helmet if it makes you more confident
Try it first on grass and then when your confident do it on concrete.
Do it step by step: 1. Start going backwards 2. If you have a cassette hub (i do) keep pedaling backwards if not dont 3. Turn your handle bars a little bit 4. Turn your handle bars a bit fast to the other direction to roll out (In step 4 Use your body weight end where you wanna end) When I roll out to the left I push my body to the left exactly in step 4. Hope you master this trick ππ½
I get it man. It's scary at first. But try different ways of getting out of a fakie. How I learned was by doing sliders out. I don't suggest that. But just turn your handle bars and lean the opposite way. If you turn the bars left, lean to the right. If you turn the bars right, lean to the left
get it on youtube from spencer foresman or harry main
