I am having a hard time balancing while going backwards. Any tips?

you might want to try to go a little bit harder then it will be easier to balance ( practice on a quarter )

Practice like crazy and try getting more speed, usually when there is an issue on the bike go faster and it will fix it.

Just Chill and keep calm and try to focus on just pedel back you dont have to move your bar when you Drive straight on a Spine or sth

if you are on a cassette hub lean back focus on your front tire and pedal backwards. if you are on a free coaster do the same just without pedalling backwards

It is helping my balance by really focusing on pedaling backward
Try to go faster
Just lean back over your rear tire when learning
Just try and stay balanced as you approach a ramp/hill

Try trackstanding like a road biker it helps teach you balance from side to side
Look straight down at your stem works great
lean back look at your stem or a part your bike and pedal backwards but you gotta pedal back faster than your bike
Try leaning more weight forward look down at the front tire and if you have a cassette try using pedaling back to keep balance

Make sure your keeping your bike aligned. But it is not an easy trick so just practice it and you will figure it out
