A Puneta, but when you duck the sail into the backwind and jump using the power of the sail from the opposite side.
How do it
This is a Puneta, but ducking the sail into the backwind and jumping using the power of the sail from the opposite side. This trick can also be described as a Bob performed in switch stance. Invented and named by the venezuelan 3-x world champion Ricardo Campello.
1.
Pick up speed, change into switch and bear away.
2.
Open the sail and duck it upwind, like when performing a Reverse Duck Jibe: bring the mast windward, re‑grab the sail on the opposite side and lean in against the wind. Remaining over the center of the board, hold the sail closer to your body by bending your arms.
3.
Begin to move the sail along the board by extending your mast arm, and jump. Once in the air, tuck close to the clew, bend your back leg and look in the direction of rotation.
4.
During landing, move the sail windward and continue the rotation, like when doing a Puneta, by leaning over the center of the board, bending your front leg and straightening your back leg.
5.
Complete the trick like a Puneta 360 or 540.
