to push the board into the water so that it will push back

Ollie is not a pushing board into the water, and fly away at moon after. Ollie is a result of both legs work. First phase: front leg goes up, knee to chest. Second phase: push tail of the board by back leg and jump Third phase: pull handle to front leg, and back leg goes up too, both knees in one level. Landing on water with soft legs

I am not a pro at all.. and yes, I’ve asked which leg to push with first... than someone told me that forget pushing. You should start from your hip... and there was a big WOW when I’ve first tried it. I suggest to you the same. Try to ‘swing’ your hip. Gee.. since then I could do 2-3x higher than before...

yes if u push your board into the water you will jump easily
it all in boyancy when you push down the board will have an equal and opposite reaction and get you the pop you need. the harder you push down the higher you will go
Yea essentially push down on your front foot then the boyancy of the board will push it back up then . Lift up ur back foot and flatten off in the air.
Start off by doing an Ollie like a skateboard. Move your weight from your front foot to the back foot. While you weight is moving, squat down and pick your front foot off the water first, quickly followed by your rear foot. It should almost feel like you are doing a one leg squat jump at the beginning. You will learn how to make the water work for as you get more comfortable with this trick.
It would be a fluid movement. You have to start the movement with your front foot and then kick your back food. It is easier with one hand, and remember to keep your eyes high, do not see the water, because you would probably fall.
Push down with your back leg and pull your whole body up
