You want to think of it like a nollie dock start, so you are using the flex of the board to jump off the nose/end of the board. Practice first just by doing the nollie on flat ground. You want to be rocking your body over your back leg to your front leg and pushing off the nose of the board so that the tail/back leaves the ground. You want to be trying to get the board about 30-40 degrees. This is the moment you want to feel the tension of the line. But before, you want to be able to jump start

Hold the rope near your waist, with loose arms. As the rope gets tight, and your arms begin to be pulled, do the nollie. As you nollie, pull the rope to your front hip. If you have trouble with hight, practice some nollies in the grass so you can get the feel for it. If you have trouble pulling ourself back, try pulling the handle to where your belt buckle would be, rather than your hip. This makes it easier to pull the rope in, but it makes you do a fs 180 and land switch.

Let the rope rock you from the flat base to your nose and then push off with your front leg

A really great tip that I got was instead of hopping off your front foot forwards, you should do the nollie when the cable pulls but you should focus on jumping straight up instead of forward. The cable will do the job of pulling you forward!!!!!!!!! :)

if you think about it in the begining most people jump off the dock and twist 90 degrees to regular/goofie. could be seen as harder. to Nosepress just wait for the tension, pull the line downwards toward your front knee and jump forwards from the front leg. its a good start before mastering it. getting to know the cable and getting the right timing is key. good luck
the main thing is to let the rope pull you, dont jump too early, it has to pull you, just stick to the rope, easy 🏄🏾
You should jump but not straight only jump upper
Lean on your back foot with the rope on your front hip. As the rope begins to tighten it should pull your arms up. Rock forward until you are on your the nose of your board. At this point, (your arms should be pretty straight) jump, and use the flex of your board to get extra air. Once your in the air, pull the rope back to your hip in order to bring the board back under. Keep in mind: depending on which arm is your dominant arm, it may be easier to pull the rope to your back hip and land switch
Bend front leg. Straighten back leg. Lean forward. Hold the line close to your front knee. Feel the pull. I mean the real pull. Hold a millisecond. Jump off your front foot. Let it pull you and it will straighten you up automatically. Enjoy !
All in the rock from the back foot to the front! Practice on the flat rocking from tail to nose, then practice a small tail to nose then nollie up to flat, then do it with the handle, wen in the air pull the handle down to your leading hip and spot your landing and you should be good! If not embrace the swim and go again!!
You should Slack your arms and do a nolie
Let it pull.
Let the rope pull your arms first and then let your board slowly follow, your top should be the last bit on the flat. When it is you don’t have to jump high just a bit.
You should have your handle on your hips and when is starts to pul put a bit of presure on your frontleg and the jump.
Let it pull and do a nollie
Keep your arms strong, put most of your weight on your front foot, wait for the line to get tight, when you feel the line start to pull you over do a nollie (nose ollie), when in the air pull the board under you, land, ride away.
Start leaning over your front food when the Cable comes around the corner and hold your handle by your hip. When you feel that the cable starts pulling you, push down with your frond foot and jump a bit up, at the same time, pull your back feet up. Keep a slight bend in your arms when te cable is pulling you, keep your core engaged and then just ride away.
Let it pull you off the dock and then once you get in the air start to pull the rope back down to your hip.
