When the cable pulls do I leave the slack or do I let my arms go loose. And when it starts to pull do I jump of the dock

Your arms are not going to change, much, from a jump start. Your just rolling up onto the nose first, practice some nosepress to jump in the grass if your not feeling it on the dock.

Listen to the click as the cable catches, count... 1, click, jump and nosepress just like a jump start
Just let the cable pull you
I find the easiest way is to watch the carrier come round wait the for click. as you sit on your back foot, then straighten arms forward and as the line tensions increases rock from your back foot onto your front nose then pop up, at this point pull the handle back into your leading hip head up and spot ur landing, takes a few slams to keep ur nose up! But worth it
Can be helpful in the beginning to lean on your front feet and wait until the cable start to pull you. Than you just have to straight your body keep the handle down and looking forward. Good luck
What I do is once it clicks is when I start to rock back. The timing should be right so that once ur about finished rocking forward, there should be anymore slack. DO NOT BEND YOUR ARMS. Let your arms out in front of you, and once ur in the air, bend ur arms and tuck in your knees. And no you don't really jump. You rock forward and let the cable do the rest.
You should Slack your arms and do a nolie
Don't get your Arms lose. You Need to be able to pull your board under your feet. Keep the handle down to your knees and Go with the pull of the Cable.
Let the rope pull your arms first and then let your board slowly follow, your top should be the last bit on the flat. When it is you don’t have to jump high just a bit.
I like to keep the handle im front of me basically behind my back foot. This way I know to prepare myself immidiately when the cable starts moving my arms towards the front. Just before the cable starts pulling me I do the nollie and when I am almost at the highest, the cable should pull me also frontwards. This way it will be BIG!
Keep your arms strong, put most of your weight on your front foot, wait for the line to get tight, when you feel the line start to pull you over do a nollie (nose ollie), when in the air pull the board under you, land, ride away.
Basically what i do is stand still and when the cable pulls you pull the handle to you and then jump with you nose leg to the front
