Backside board is a different trick than backside Lip Slide ( also called backside Lipe-S). The first one is a slide on an obstacle with your backside and placing your board perpendicular to the movement direction. Backside Lip-S is when you attack a jump or object (Transfer) with your backside. This a BS Lip-S: https://instagram.com/p/BWZ2SMZhB9_/ and the first trick in the following clip is a BS Board: https://instagram.com/p/BTGZYTBBb2r/ I hope that helps. Best Regards.

Yes, they're two different tricks. FS lipslide and BS boardslide looks the same when you're on the rail (both with chest facing forward). The difference is the approach to the rail. If you're regular stances a fs lipslide is when you approach the rail from the left side (your front/face facing the rail, hence front-side), whereas bs boardslide means you approach the rail from the right side (your back facing the rail, hence back-side).

The difference between a boardslide and a lipslide is, that you will lift your tail over the tail for a lipslide.

Talk only when you approach with backside. Boardslide is you lift your nose over the rail first, lipslide is when you lift your tail over the rail first. When do with frontside it will look same in switch side.
