Any tips for this? I can do it on the surface by pulling the handle hard to my front hip, when I try to Ollie it the cable pulls too much

Same as you do on surface just pull a handle to your lower back at the moment you pop and rotate (pull to gain some speed so you have time before cable pull you again). Quick handle pass also help a lot if you can’t hold at blind position with one hand.

You shouldn’t pull the handle hard, you need to Ollie and than turn your head. I suppose the secret is in the rotation. Good luck 🤙🏻

Before you ollie ride a little bit to the outside of the cable on your heels, about 1 or 2 meter. Than ride straight this creates a little bit of slack in the line. Then pop your ollie and do the backside 180
