How do it
A batwing is a rally performed toeside, traditionally with an indy grab.
1.
Begin to edge as wide as possible and try to maintain maximum speed from the very beginning.
2.
Keep your body straight and have the handle near your hip.
3.
Jump, tilt your shoulder — and entire frame — towards the boat, release your back hand and have your leading hand hold the handle at your hips. And immediately throw out your feet, up and diagonally (as if dancing the can-can).
4.
Bend your knees and try to do an indie grab with your back hand.
5.
If your edge was fast enough, you’ll have enough traction to easily return your body to it’s original position. Just pull the handle up to your front knee.
