How do it
The approach is the key building block of any wakeboard trick. The sharpness and length of each approach is something you will have to determine for each trick. It’s rather individual and mostly has to do with whatever you find comfortable, but there are a number of general rules to keep in mind:
1.
The approach should be progressive, i.e start out slower and gradually speed up. It's very important to increase your speed as you draw closer to the wake.
2.
Any approach must begin smoothly, to avoid slack in the rope and, consequently, any jerking.
3.
While approaching the wake, always keep your weight evenly distributed between your feet .
