Shifty

6426 riders can do it
A "can" rotation, where you twist your shoulders and legs against each other.
How do it
When performing a shifty, your shoulders turn quickly, while your legs stay in one place — or even turn in the opposite direction.
1.
Push off like when doing a regular spin. A shifty can be performed during almost any spin — and even during different sections of execution.
2.
While spinning, either right after the push off or in the middle of execution, simultaneously tuck and twist your arms in the direction of rotation. Hold your legs in position for as long as you can manage.
3.
Oftentimes, performing a shifty lets you spot your landing on completion.
4.
Make sure you differentiate between the wind‑up and shifty. One should never stem from the other, separate them as much as you can.
