I’m certain I could do one, it’s just confidence, but people say try a 3/4 back flip (pullover) but that still scares me😂 any suggestions?

I honestly don’t think a pullover isn’t the best option. It might help a little bit with fear, but it’s not gonna help you for the actual backflip. If you have a friend that knows how to backflip or what you’re supposed to do, have them spot you, or even hold you up by your back so you don’t fall, and have them kick your legs over, so you get enough rotation, and get all the way around. Keep doing this, until they slowly let go more and more each time.
If you don’t have a friend to help, throw mats down, if you have them, and start learning progressions. There are some great tutorials on YouTube that can teach you these methods. The most popular method is probably the macaco method. Flipping is scary, and scares the best of us. But once you get over for the first time, you’re all set and the fear goes away for the most part. What I mean by this is that you will commit easier.
I’d say try doing like a backflip but do it less vertically so you go over one shoulder. then work your way to a full backflip. That’s what helped for me
Flipping into the water was a thing that really helped me, just flip off a dock or something a couple feet off the water
