A sliding along an obstacle with pressure being put on the nose, so that the tail of the board is raised in the air. Approach from toe edge.
How do it
A pretty simple trick. During the slide, your board is parallel to the obstacle/rail, just like when performing a 50/50 — only this time your entire weight is on your front foot, raising your tail for the duration of the slide. You can feel out the nosepress stance even while standing flat. Enter with an ollie and immediately dig in your front foot. Find your balance!
1.
Ride up to the rail with knees bent and a slight emphasis on the front edge. Once on the kicker, do a classic ollie and shift your weight onto your front foot.
2.
The main difficulty here is pressing the nosepress all the way to the end of the rail. But don't overdo it and throw your body too far forward — this can lead to a fall.
3.
When exiting, bring your weight over both legs and ride off.
