Transitioning from the toe edge onto a straight board might seem dangerous, but is in fact quite easy. Much easier than off the heel edge.
How do it
Transitioning from the toe edge onto a straight board might seem dangerous, but is in fact quite easy. Much easier than off the heel edge.
1.
Start off with a toe slide.
2.
Now open your front shoulder, look in the direction of movement down the slope and shift your weight onto your front foot. These two movements will quickly bring you to a flat board (board straight).
3.
A flat board accelerates quickly, but you already know how to brake and control the speed – shift onto your front foot and transition to a heel slide.
