How do it
For any trick performed in switch, you need to first enter switch and approach your obstacle in switch. This is what we'll focus on here.
1.
First of all, decide which switch you'll be using, left or right. Often times, a person spins to the left, but finds the right switch more comfortable. You need to know how to do both to do a switch 180.
2.
Now imagine yourself going into switch stance. If you pick the easier direction, you'll have to loose sight of the kicker for some time. If that's not an option, then you have to learn to enter switch from the harder direction. Each option has it's pros and cons, so think it over.
3.
Determine a spot on the in‑run where you'll transition to switch. Remember, when riding in switch, there are always more steps, so the earlier you transition, the faster you'll accelerate. On the other hand, the sooner you transition, the easier it will be and the more time you'll have to prepare for the jump.
4.
Ride in switch, keeping one leg in front, so that one ski significantly overtakes the other. The further apart your skis are, the more you'll turn, making it easier to ride and look backwards.
5.
Whichever direction you turn, keep your eyes in the direction you're moving in, always looking over the same shoulder. This will of course make one of the turns more challenging than the other.
6.
Straighten your approach if you're in the comfortable transition, but hold your arc in the uncomfortable one.
