Approach the quarter coping in fakie, plant your tail onto it, then exit into your regular stance just like when doing a regular drop in into the quarter.
How do it
Approach the quarter coping in fakie, plant your tail onto it, then exit into your regular stance, just like when doing a regular drop in into the quarter.
1.
Ride up to the coping in fakie. If you’re on a mini ramp, it’s easier to swap to fakie after doing a rock to fakie than it is to drop in from switch.
2.
Snap foot is on the tail, front foot is around the bolts, closer to the nose. When the tail touches the coping, push down on it by shifting your weight from the quarter to over the coping.
3.
Exiting is a piece of cake, just drop in back into the quarter.

I can’t stand up all the way. I only do a tap not an actual stall. Any tips?
