how do i stop the board from landing behind me when i do the rotation??

If I’m being honest idk what you mean by behind you but since you’re trying to back 180 then focus on your Ollie first, swing your arms, and aim for a 90 at least and revert the rest. keep practicing and slowly progress the 90 to a full 180 this isn’t perfect but it’s a start
When you do the bs 180 you don’t want to slide your foot to the side like you do a pop shuvit you want to slide your foot up like an Ollie than you want to move your shoulders sideways so you go 180 like doing it on flat ground.
