As scary as it may be, go faster and harder. Make sure you're riding tougher wheels too. I ride 102A Orbs

Try doing little ones and pick up the speed the more and more you rotate.

It might help you to get faster and try if you put on as many pads as you can find.

Lean back but not a lot and just keep in mind that you should be able to revert because that will help, a good foot placement would be to have both feet hanging off to help slide. And push your feet out

Go to the fastest speed you can get while being conformable. Put back you weight way way back while power sliding, when it will begin to slow down, put back your weight and body perpendicular to the skateboard.

There are three things you can do. Go faster, try on a slicker surface, force more momentum forward by pushing out your feet.

Go faster. Really the only way I know of.
Go faster. Like way faster. Go faster than fast if u want that mice slide
It's just the speed and if your wheels are to soft it ain't gonna work
Make sure you are going fast enough or on something slippery like wood or plastic
Rotate your board a bit faster and lean backwards, it would also help to go faster
Faster and bend the maximum of your knees to better stability
Go faster
Make the board not completely parallel with your shoulders
Go faster, harder and put all your upper body weight when leaning back.👍🏻
You need speed

To keep moving only slide for a couple seconds and you want to be going pretty fast, also I find it easier and more fun when the ground is wet or slick.
Make sure you lean back with enough speed!
Lean back a little bit and crouch when you do it lower your body mass

Get speed, lean back, and make sure to push your legs into the slide if that makes sense
