When I try my pop shove-it's I can't get my back foot on the board. I skate regular. Please help.

As you scoop it with your back foot the board with start to go right in front of you. So what you with do is jump directly in front of you. Not the direction you are riding but literally the direction you are facing. If you keep practicing jumping the direction the board is going you should be golden

You gotta commit man! This is probably the first trick that will give you commitment issues. Anyway just try to land with your back foot, I know it will be frustrating but trust me man it is worth it!

When you flick jump forward and make sure to bend your knees and throw both your feet off the ground like a Ollie . Just to the same thing and flick and jump forward .

Just maybe put your feet differently and just get your shove it's down first but just tuck your knees a little to let the board spin
What helps me is to curl my toes around the board on the scoop and practice landing with only the back leg also holding on to something at first to get the feeling of landing the trick
You kinda just jump. Bring your back leg up and move with it. Also put your back foot on first then the front one
After you pop and scoop lift your back leg as much a your front like a hippy jump

Practice doing pop shuvs with only Ur back foot on the board. Once u feel comfortable then do both feet.
Ok first thing is when you scoop keep in your mind that you need to focus on not being a complete faggot.if you keep saying it in your head"i am not a faggot i am not a faggot" its possible that you will actually trick your mind iti believing it .
Try to catch it on the front foot and get your back foot from the air on your board

When you do the show it make sure you jump forward with both feet 👌🏻

I had the same problem and the only way is always thinking you have to jump.
Try jumping forward and a little bit to the left when you do a pop shuvit. That's how I learned
What I do is instead of trying to jump forward, kind of jump back. That way you would land in the middle of the board. As you practice you'll get better at landing in place.
Keep your feet close when landing. But you should practice more. :)

Act like your doing a shove-it but to do the pop push down a little bit more or you can practice taking your left foot off and practice landing with your back foot.

How I do the trick, is I push the board, then jump. It has to be quick motion

when you scoop the board raise your backfoot enough to where your front foot hits the board slightly before the back one

This is one of those, screw-it-I'm-going-to-try-it-anyways things. When you can't get your backfoot on, it's because it is now a habit, and you don't trust yourself enough to actually do it. You need to break that habit.
Try jumping in front of you ( the way you are looking) and just try to put your foot on it. If your back foot starts landing behind the board you know you are improving. Good luck (:
