It's not about you not knowing how to land it, but about not commiting. The way I learned it was that I stood on concrete in front of a grassy area, and tried to pop shuvit onto the grass, so that I'm not afraid of falling.

When u pop make sure your body goes slightly back and a little bit forward and keep your feet still and above the board while in the air
Make sure your toes are just off the board and your back foot should be right where the tail and the mid section of the board meet. And when you do it use your toe to bring the board around
Try to jump with the board...like when you shove it the board likes to move to the right or left depending on your stance. So in short jump to where the board is going.
Just try to get the rotation and imagine jumping infront of the board
Try landing the trick with your back foot. Then with both.
Keep your front foot on the board at all times, just commit now, lean a bit forward and just add your back foot at the end of the trick
Lean forwards
