When I pop I’m not getting as much height as when I Ollie normally, is this down to lack of practice or something else?

It’s probably a mixture of lack of practice and foot placement, for me I have to put my feet closer for my fakie ollie but if that doesn’t work move your feet farther apart

Basically it is a lack of practice but you’ll get it high eventually just keep skating

I experienced a similar problem. It is sometimes because of the lad o of practice, but sometimes it may be a case of you pushing the board behind u and leaning towards the direction of movement which can cause you to slip out of the board and not be able to gain any height

Yes and could also be your not leveling your board at your peak

Try and learn how to balance better in Fakie, you can do this by learning other Fakie tricks
Practice more, and for level up the board higher, push your backfoot (in ollie your front foot) more.
