No. What you do is while the board is rolling you jump off of it, flip it with your hands, then get back on.

I dont think you can varial an old school kickflip, but idk, maybe if ur "flick-tie is under the tail or just before the back-truck and you scoop it?! It might go varial, but i dont think it can tho'.

There are two main types. 1. Jump of the board with one font on either side flip it with your hand and jump back on ( this is the one the riders is taking about but isn’t as popular) 2. Curl your back foot around the edge of the board and flick it so that it rotates 360 and land on it.
