I usually bone my ollies too much a go into a really awkward nose grind or nearly sack myself. How would I stop doing this?

I think you should just practice evening out your back foot so it lands on the ledge/rail in the normal 50-50 stance. After that you just give it some speed and you should grind fine. Also maybe hit the ledge/rail at more or less of an angle, which ever way feels better.

try to land on the ledge back truck first or both trucks at the same time.once u landed on to the position, don't lean anywhere and ride off like riding off a curb

I would say just practice doing little ollies . Then when your ollies are not boned try the 50-50 on a small ledge that has a lot of wax

Make sure to slide your foot all the way up
Lean back so you Evan your ollies out
do so much ollies that it becomes a thougtless and effortless motion. its such a important trick in skating. totally worth it
Go faster
You're going into nose grind because you're stopping
Practise standing still next to the ledge and just ollieing onto the ledge and locking in. If you land on the front truck, try to balance and land also on the back truck.
Travailles ton ollie devant un trottoir
Don’t bone 🦴 you’re ollies
Practice leveling out your Ollie’s on flat ground and next to the ledge/rail to get more of a feel for it before hand, try dragging that front foot right to the nose when you ollie to rlly level the board out .
