I have my ollie down but I can't do it while moving. And when I practice like Ollieing over a brick I do it late. Any tips? 😁

Aye lmfao it takes guts to Ollie. Once me and some aliens were flying over Cali and they taught me how to Ollie. I don't remember what I was taught but I don't have a kidney. 🌚👽😫👌🏾🙏🏾

Well if ur practicing in flat , and not in a crack, you should get it down. Make sure to have your front foot just and inch below the bolts and your back foot right in the middle of the tail. Start off slow and gradually go faster, first go with one push and land at that speed three times in a row, and then go faster. When you go to Ollie over something, all you need to do is commit and go fast, if ollieing too early, wait just a little and then pop and air over, u need you nose really close

Its all about timing, first start off doing a Ollie over a crack at your pace.then pick up speed and start over something else like sticks and so on.hope it helps.🔥

Believe it or not ollies can be irritating to learn, they arent hard, but theyre usually your first trick so you may not have your boardfeel and center of balace all figured out yet, practice with a crack at first, and get video so you can see for yourself that you can clear an obstacle. Its all mental, if you have proof for your own eyes that you can make it, then you will. Also, keep in mind that flatground ollies may be low, but youll be able to ollie higher when you know you need to.

Hey hey! I found that my issue was all about where my balance was on the board. In my case, I was leaning to forward, making it harder for me to lift my front foot when trying to ollie. Once I started leaning back a little bit more, which in my mind felt like I was leaning back, but physically, was properly standing straight, I started making some progress.

When popping the board moving you don't pop directly down like you do stationary. It feels more like you pop down and out. You're forced to keep you weight off the tail then so you don't stop or fall back etc. Hope this help 👌🏻

Skate fast and make sure you level out properly I have that problem sometimes too.

For Ollieing when moving you just really need to focus on the stepps make sure that you are sliding you foot all the way and piping it good. And for the brick or kerb or whatever it is you are trying to Ollie over agan just really focus on getting all those steps right and don't focus on your deck make sure you are looking at the object you are trying to get on or over and seriously make sure bout the step thing. And just keep practicing it took me a while but I got it so do that and don't quit.

Just relax

Whenever you are moving at an obstacle, make sure you have enough speed. Whenever you are riding up to Ollie over something, always look at your obstacle. The only time you need to look at your feet is when you are far away and just threw the board down, just to check your Ollie position. Whenever you are just seconds from snapping your tail, look up at your obstacle. When I was first learning my Ollie, I had the same problem.

Don't scare to fall down and lean forward when you are doing ollie moving!

I remember when I first started learning how to Ollie and it's mostly preferables, what stance you have, where your foot placement is, how far back your front foot is. But when moving, it's mainly about timing and depending how high you want to go while moving. I recommend that you start at slow (your preferable pace) and on flat grounds and not doing so over objects, work your way going faster and higher and then move on to how to Ollie off of things. I wish you good luck man

Ok so here's what I did I started out with just moving a little bit and Olliing then when I was good with that I would Ollie over cracks then something like a pebble after I was clearing those I put down a price of plywood and ollied on to it after that I raised it up a little bit and kept rising it till I was comfortable and then I ollied over a brick so start with little things then go to the big things and I wish the best of luck to you.

keep practicing you will get it eventually

Practise ollying on low obstackle (one stair etc) . You want to think that you want to jump on (at least that helped me)

Pop, Slide, Jump;)

You need guts to do it

Its about timing. Start of by just doing a normal Ollie while moving slowly and gradually get faster. Once you think your fast enough, then try and Ollie stuff. Try ollieing a crack first.

I always wait till I hear the snap of my board when I pop up then I flip the nose.👌🏻
2 likes
It's also about progression and starting small like yes over a crack or I started over s stick a brick is a hard thing to start with
2 likes
I suggest first practising your ollie over a crack while moving slowly. While crouching Down ready for the pop, lean forward slightly more so that you jump forward. Go through your normal ollie steps, and keep practising till well clear

I'm having the same problem. Take videos of yourself doing the Ollie. A slow motion video if available. Try to point out what you are doing wrong. I started out in the street, doing ollies on rough ground. Try rolling slow and then Ollie or fast if you like fast. Make sure you slide your front foot up. I taught my friend how to Ollie.

Just keep practicing also try jumping higher it will improve your Ollie height also if u slide your foot farther it will also help your height that's how I learned
2 likes
Don't Ollie an object yet just practice Ollieing high er and try rolling faster
2 likes
What I did was I just pretended that I wasn't moving and not be scared and it just worked and as for the brick Ollie early and don't be scared u will bail but just do it
2 likes
Watch the object or gap your attempting to ollie right up untill you pop the back kick. Don't take your eyes off it untill you start the ollie.
You're gonna lose a bit of skin off your arse from time to time but as long as you keep on setting harder and harder ollie gaps and hights your ollie's only gonna get longer, higher and at a much faster speed.
Hope this helps
✌Peace

Look at where you are going to Ollie and land instead of just looking at your board. Also only practice it while rolling not still. P.s. Go fast and commit😀

Go at a high pace then Ollie early
2 likes
Try sliding ur foot forward more so that ur whole body can level out In the air

Practice makes perfect! Just make sure you lift your feet up like you would standing still and have some speed.
Get comfortable with a still Ollie then try a moving nollie if you start in mongo and get the nollie down it will be a lot easier to master the moving Ollie
1 likes
Try with small sticks
1 likes
Wait for your nose to get to the object and do the Ollie like any other Ollie if your back leg come off while landing try standing straight up when you go to Ollie, still bending your knees
1 likes
Don't fear! Ride your board and just do a Ollie like when you're not moving.
I had the same problem , don't get scared , make sure to pop hard and slide ur foot up quick depending on how high u can Ollie u should try ollieing up and down curbs
1 likes
The higher your ollies are the more air time you get so it is easier to only further away, but if you can't ollie that high you instinctively do it closer.
Hop this helps👍

Start driving slow and Then speed op slowly
1 likes
Just pretend its a regular ollie just imagine that the brick isnt their

First you should learn to do an ollie moving before you try to do it over and obstacle. So just start off slowly. Then go faster and daster until you get really comfortable doing the ollie while moving. When you feel comfortable with doing the ollies while moving, then you could try doing it over an obstacle.

All You Have to do Is Commit to it 😊 you Have it all down all you need is to do it because you have a fear when your about to do it, You Have it down man Good luck bro

Try mastering it while moving first and then try doing it over small things

Maybe its because you're scared of falling or hurting yourself but you have to go and try to do it,practise, practise and practise, you are like me,i have the same problem but my friends helped me😂GOOD LUCK

I would say comit you can Practice some ollies with out moving. Get 5 good ollies good then i would say jumping over a crack. Then a hose and when your comfortable then ollie a brick so you dont pop late pop your ollie when your nose is going to almost hit the brick like 6inches away you can also go on you tube and watch braille skate boarding he has great ways to teach you how to do an ollie and othere tricks
1 likes
Make sure you angle your front foot when you Ollie and make sure you have a fair amount of speed to get over the brick. When it looks like the nose of your board is about to hit the brick, that's when you Ollie but make sure you have already set up for the Ollie
1 likes
Eazy first do it wile moving flat
1 likes
Well once you see the the obstacle that your going to jump jump before with a good pop on your skateboard and just roll away
1 likes
You have to pop and then slide your leg.
One leg need to be on the tail and the other leg need to be on the middle
1 likes
Getting more speed is all you have to do it may seem scary but the speed will carry you over what ever you are ollieing over
1 likes
it's just yo get scared you need to wait and get closer to the brick
1 likes
Practice going really slow and trying to Ollie but don't be scared when u do it!!
I had this problem as well. You need to pop, and lift your back foot if doing It while moving. Try bringing your front foot all the way to the edge of the nose.
Start of slow then build up pace try something smaller and build your way up
GOODLUCK👍

It helps if you try to imagine Ollie-ing forward with your board, instead of Ollie-Ing up and letting your momentum carry you forward.
Start with something smaller like a peice of wood or a stick put it on (example) your drive way where on side is towards concrete and other side towards some grass or something so that way you can skate then ollie over it then land in grass where you can practice landing it
1 likes
You just have to get used to your flick foot comming off of the board and transfer with both your front front or back foot catching it. When you try ollieing over a brick just pop your board up earlier
1 likes
Its easier moving dont be scared and commit
1 likes
Put markers were you want to pop.

Start off flat ground. Don't try it over a brick until you have that down. Also, ollies are like a form of jumping. Keep that in mind.
Try timing it a little earlier than you would normally do it
1 likes
Dont look at the brick.
Do the ollie as late as possibile

Ollie before the brick

Prepare you ollie erleiy and get heaps of speed trust me the speed helps

Timing! and Balance! is everything

Try to go slow first and when you get it go faster and faster try ollieing over something small like a hose
1 likes
You should act like nothing is in front of you raised up from the ground when over the brick but also remember to watch your feet til you hit the ground
1 likes
Do it
1 likes
Just Ollie like your on flat just keep practicing them
1 likes
Ollie earlier than you would normally. Speed helps as well! And don't for get to lift your back foot up after the pop
1 likes
First get your moving ollies down before you try to Ollie a brick moving ollies are easy if you can stay still and do them try just with a tiny roll and work yourself up to a steady movement it just takers practice
1 likes
I just learned to do it a few days ago but keep trying to Ollie while moving and make sure u pop the tail I missed popping the tail and couldn't get off the ground hoped this helped
1 likes
If you make sure to nail the timing of your pop and slide, keep your body centered over the board at all times and keep your eye on what you’re doing and where you’re going, you’ll get it. Remember, you should be sliding the side of your foot not the side of your toe for more control and height.
Your weigh has to be always upside the board if it doestn your board is gonna snap backward or forward !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep your eyes on the object while you reaching it and start ollieing when the nose is near the obstacle, then do an ollie like if you are not moving
I dont put my back foot not on the tail but in the middle of the crease you may not be comfortable with that because ur use to putting ur foot at the tail
to jump over stuff you just can't hesitate. go into it with intent.
If you can't do it consistently while moving, don't try and ollie over something.
Once you do get it down, start off with a stick or small rock for starters
Go really fast and commit
Ollie before you think you have to to get over something. And keep your shoulders aligned with your feet.
Just focus you riding away from the ollie
Try going faster it helped me
The best tip i could give you is Just Maybe Ollie Higher If thats the Problem or Maybe Ollie Earlier or Later But most likely your fear is Taking over just think theirs nothing to be afraid of So Just Be confident and Do it Bro Feed me Back If you still cant do it or Follow ill see what i could Do 😊 My instagram is @sesh.carlos for more help dont worry you Got this Bro ! 🙌🏽
Well u should just spaming ollie while standing that helped me and dont start with a brick start with something small like a piece of paper this helped me😉
Try doing it on something small like a stick or mop
commit
practice with just your deck "no trucks" on a carpet or grass and once you can Ollie put your trucks back on and go for it again!
Start ollieing over a crack and gradually increase the obstacle size.
Go slower or do it a bit early
Do it the same as you do it stationary just practice your timing, commit, and keep your feet on the board.
Dont ollie late
when you are moving you have to drag your foot forward and up at the same time. try pushing your foot into the board with just a little movement at first.
try oilieing a bit early
Make sure that during the entire trick you are always stood straight up, do not move your body move your legs because if you land with your body back of towards you will just fly off in that direction. So when I was learning to Ollie while moving I watched my body to make sure it was up right. And for timings just start it earlier than you would think and ajust from there.
Go faster and picture ur self ollieing over it and feel confident when doing just commit
start with a hoes and for Ollieing while moving start slow and increase your speed as you go
First you should get more comfortable on your board and then everything will start falling into place because you be able to get your foot stance much easier and you'll be much more comfortable with takeoff and landing.
Stare at the obstacle and just dont be scared 😉
ollie beside IT to you got the height down first then Ollie earlier
Yes all you got to do is try popping a little harder and try to get some speed when you jump over
克服心理障碍重心向前放
when you go over a brick you are late so try to start early and you have a better chance of making it.
When youre first starting to move while doing am ollie try it at a slower pace over a smaller object. Dont rush find youre own pace
Go faster and pop a second earlier
Bom todas as manobras são difíceis apenas basta treinar e tentar.... Para mandar o ollie em movimento basta se posicionar com o corpo no pé da frente 👊✌🔨💥👏
When ollieing you want little speed at first but you can also do it in a crack but when your ready act like your jumping and don't forget to move your foot forward
Basically man, just practice amd don't be worried about falling. I had the same issue and eventually it just clicks. Just keep doing what you're doing and continue practicing and you will land it as soon as you are fully committed to landing it
Firstly, you should be very comfortable with your ollies while moving. So, when you ollie while moving do not even think that you are moving, just ollie like you did on flat, jump with the board, and try to lean a little forward, the way you are moving. The last thing you need to do is keep your balance when you land it, but all of this needs practice, remember that, it took me 6 months to learn my ollies while moving but since then, i could learn every trick while moving pretty easily.
First get comfortable riding practice from around 30 min to an hour then try it. When ollieing you have to have good timing but keep practicing you will get it.
You only anticipate to the brick and push down the tail when you ear the pop pull the front foot and jump remmember if the front foot is more back more high us your ollie more to the front the ollie is down lets practice to me just 3 weeks and my ollie was more high lucky and more skate for the life
Just practice i had the same problem just find the day you are so motivated to just do it and try it then
start by moving slowly and progressively get faster. Then, start by ollie-ing over a stick, and then work your way to the brick. to get the timing, start the Ollie once the obstacle you're jumping over is just under the nose of the board (provided its at ground level). Hope this helps!
So ehen you go for it just pop and jump thats what helped me doing it and if you think its to late just ollie when the front truck is 1 second away and just get some speed and ollie but bend youre kneees i hope that helped
Me too
The practice on a crack really helps. Also try to keep your body straightened during the jump
it is all about timing, try to keep your eyes on the obstacle, especially once you have stopped pushing... it's odd at first not to look at you board / feet but try to get used to it.
Pop she the very tip of your board is close and when doing an Ollie work on distance and not just hight
Just practice
Try following to the tip of the board
wait till your like 1 foot away from it and if it's still late the like 6 inches or so
try moving your body forward with the board
Be sure you're looking at the object and not your board, you can glance down beforehand and make sure your feet are in the right position, but you have to get used to just feeling when it's wrong and right. The only way to time it correctly is to keep your eye on the obstacle. Hope I helped even though this was posted forever ago!🙂✌🏽️
Don't try and think about it. If you hesitate, you're not going to go, or you're going to go late. Don't be afraid. You'll get more comfortable with the trick
Practice it while not moving and practice more riding
You will have to ollie before the brick and the speed will take you over the brick. But you wanna bend down and make sure you pop straight down. Once you do that, suck your legs up to your chest and the board should follow. While landing, make sure to bend your legs to brace impact. And roll away clean
Practice to make a pop long will moving wen you do a pop do a slide do it again and again and again you will learn how to do it fast will moving
For ollieing over the obstacle, you can think of it as jumping over the obstacle; your body has to be over the obstacle and commit. Make sure that you start from a crack and gradually increase the size of the obstacle and speed accordingly.
Try getting more speed and doing it earlier
Start slow then gain speed
Try ollieing over a crack while filming it and see what you're doing wrong and remember skating is about committing
Try keeping your weight more centered and try popping the tail about when the nose is 6 inches from the brick
Relax and try ollies a bit earlier
When you are moving and you want to make an ollie you must are over the deck when you make the ollie
Start to do a olie on a very slow speed almost standing still then just build your self up by going little bit faster at a time
Try to focus only on the Board and your ollie Not on the brick. 😄
Keep tryin to jump on objects and stuff like that. Timing is very important
I can't help you by going over something because I am still trying to get that down, but, about the moving I can help because that used to be my problem also and what I did was when I popped the board, I popped it behind me so I could say on top of the board and so the board won't go flying in front of you and then with the foot sliding thing I did the same as when I was still. I hope that works for you.
when you ollie and move make sure to get down and then do like you would a normal ollie
Do it earlier
I can only help with the moving problem so just like I did I also had the problem just Ollie while standing still then push once slowly then Ollie and increase the speed every time
Get some speed (start slow) and pop right before your nose gets to the object. When flicking, flick up and when you start coming down push your front foot down where you want it to land. Make sure to tuck your foot into the concave after leveling your board.
No it hapens to me to😂
Just go really slowly and practice doing it. If u can do it at that speed then go faster and faster little by little. 👍🏼 U can do it
Practice Practice Practice
Hey I've been doing Ollie's for a while now and my best advice to give you would snap your tail right before your front truck is about at the brick and let your front truck go over it. But try to Ollie something smaller first like a broomstick or a hose, best of luck to you!
I say don't try to ollie over anything until you start rolling you should go slow while ollie
Start by olling while moving, your muscles will get use to and you will get the coordination needed to Ollie over stuff.
Before ollieing over a brick try to do it moving and then it will be easier to jump something. And to do a ollie moving you have to try making little ollie ta the beggining.
Practise and practise, dont be scared i landed my first ollie while moving 2 days ago. If you fail, you wont even fall down.
Look a the object you are ollieing over XD
Well when I was learning the Ollie my timing was really off and my body would kinda freeze up before the Ollie. What helped me a lot was lots of practice and looking at the middle of my board it helps me concentrate
If you want to start to learn how to Ollie on the move you have to be perfectly comfortable when riding your board and don't rush this you want to be so comfortable its like second nature and ones you have done that, have full pads (if you have them) and when moving at a nice speed and slightly lean forward and get the most pop you can and you would automatically land but before you Ollie over something get a friend (or record yourself) and see if you cleared a crack and just keep progressing.😎
Trying over distances use lines in a parking lot like the corners or the wheel chair man or shadows and height try one line moving slower and still getting over it.
Don't crouch too long or too much.
Just think of it like, your jumping the brick without a board and right when you about to jump Ollie it
There are some great tips here, one thing I would keep in mind, something that was an issue for me is to keep your shoulders square and slide your foot straight to keep your board from turning. Also snap down on your tail FAST too keep your board from losing momentum and sliding it in the ground.
Ollie about 10 cm away from the obstacle you are ollieing over
Ollies while moving are surprisingly harder than while standing still. Don't try doing over anything yet, just go slow and try and get the board off the ground. Once you feel more comfortable ollieing while moving, then try it over stuff.
Just keep practicing it moving, it'll come naturally.
Just keep practicing it moving, it'll come naturally
Bitten you are not moving and do your best Ollie
I had that problem but if you try again again and again you will do it 😜
Hdj
Hi how are you
More pop or more slide or more jump
Be ready to fall..
Just keep practicing and make slight adjustments as you go, try and Ollie from further away
Make sure you have good shoes XD
Try it at different times and see what time is Best for you
Start small a broom stick work on your timing do Ollie every chance over a crack or anything don't stress it takes Time dude
don't go straight to trying to go over something. try ollieing at as low of a speed as you can and work your way up until you are comfortable to try and ollie over something. Then practice ollies as you cruise around and try to go up and down curbs.
Gl woth it just keep practcibg
Do it earlier
Tips
Just keep working on it
JUST DO IT
Go slow, try a crack, then a hose, and then a curb, and hit the curb going at an angle
Don't even think about jumping with your skate board. But pop hard. It took me a while but I can do about a foot
Man up
Set your foot a little lower and to Ollie with speed just practice your Ollie while moving very slow and slowly pick up the speed
Jump foward and not up
Try holding onto a bar or fence
Have some guts an do it ride mongo what makes it hard for me to do tricks
Try Ollie moving first get us to the movement then try to Ollie over something
Practice bro in first time is more hard then you get The trick tip
Don't try doing it over anything until you got it down while rolling. Just keep going around and rolling and ollieing. If you keep doing it you should get it down in a day or two. Once you're comfortable with rolling ollieing, then try it over cracks and then eventually over anything really.
Don't go to slow or when you pop the board will come out from under you
Start out by not going that fast on the board and doing the Ollie, then get a little bit faster and do the Ollie again. Keep on doing that until u get comfortable with it.
Get some speed it will help and make sure u time it up and make sure you front wheels get Above the brick first
Try to force yourself to just do the same while youre moving it, then practise and you shold make it!
You could try ollieing over cracks in the sidewalk to get your timing good enough to get over a brick/curb or whatever you want.
Just keep doing it on flat over nothing until you can do it moving very well.
Watch a YouTuber called braille skateboarding he will tech you a lot of beginner tricks
Honestly speed its scarier but just look where you want to go get some speed and do it
Just try stay above the board it realy helped my just follow your board with your feets and dont jump back
Go slow then get a little faster and stay calm also make sure your front foot is behind the bolts and back foot is right on the edge of the tail
Honestly just get the Ollie down and then be confident in it when you are going over stuff
It helps when you practice going out of really really really slow pace or going off a curb if you can but at least try and do it daily like to try to trick over and over until you like master and you'll get really good at it
Just concentrate on the object your looking at, when you think your close enough towards the object bend your knees down more and pop hard! Then try to land on your bolts
Just start mlving slowly while doing the ollie and ad more speed every now and then 💩
You need a good speed to do its...
Try going of curbs an you'll eventually get it.
Start by ollieing off curbs and you'll eventually get it.
You just have to do the ollie while riding but start slow and in a heure you will go faster and faster
Same thing i do the first time i practice my ollies. You only need to do it and dont do the same thing over and over. Learn to fight your fears and you'll be able to do it. Good luck man. 👍
do no try ollie over something at first. get your ollies down whille moving at first
Commit
Ollie sooner
Do it over cracks in the ground first
Try an Ollie when you come close to the brick
I used to do that it's a about confidence and timing
Make a line and try to Ollie over it while moving
\
try something much smaller
#skateboarding is frustrating
If you have an old board flip it over and the try ollie over it if u dont try over a crack or put plastick and ollie over it
First you need to ollie while moving slowly and if you got it down try moving faster and faster that should help you ollie while moving i know it will, it helped me
Practice everyday
I dont know if this helps but i found a road there is going down hills "just a bit"
And then set a mark on the ground.
Ore tape a can to the ground, that way the skateboard is not that damaged.
Hope it was help full, any questions just ask :) ill help the best i can
Just do it is awkward at first but the more you Ollie the more comfortable it gets.
Just do it as u are stationary. When u pop keep ur shoulder parallel to the deck and jump. Practice will make it perfect. Take your time and dont push yourself too much. Skate safe
I can't Ollie but I am learning I have realy good tips so if you don't practice ollieing well in motion it's pretty much isles to not
Just kill yourself then it works
Its all about the timing and its also about how you are balanced whenever you pop it up
Take it easy and just do it
Start slow, and start increasing speed and you start feeling more comfortable, fold a piece of card board so it stands on the ground and try ollieing over that, you will be able to tell it your tricks clip it, but it will not cause a crash... good luck!!!
ollie earlier
Try keeping your body level above the board cuase if you have your body tilted backwards or forwards it wont work . and for doing it over something I would draw a line before the brick so ypu know when to ollie.
Keep going
Hey homey, watch my tricktip, I hope it can help you.
Commiting is key
Do it on a smaller stack of bricks
Gradually more and more speed!
Just commit
And keep trying
You just afraid of landing it. Try not to think about falling. Also you can start from minor speed, then faster and faster.
Bro take it from your own opinion. Is it you moving or you are standing on your skateboard while the Earth is moving underneath you🤔
Practice ollieing little things like bottles or cups or sticks idk, and get comfortable with looking straight ahead while ollieing. And speed is your new best friend. Ollieing anything can be achieved with a little Ollie and a lot of speed because you don't have to worry about "oh I'm not going fast enough and won't Ollie over it so I have to time it perfect" then your late and smack your nose into it or hit your obstacle. You can Ollie earlier than the other attempt because you have speed
Youll get in time you have build confidence first
Just try to think that your standing still. That's what helped me
I have the same problem but I can ollie while moving but not fast
Practice moving by doing a tiny push land it 5 times and keep increasing speed until you don't land then practice that speed five times and when you get it keep advancing in speed and for Ollie over a brick watch The Brick not your board pop and slide a little bit before it hits your nose
Ride around a little bit and get used to your board and get comfortable with it
First you need do it well
First you need do it well and try
Try going slow and gradually gaining speed and with the brick-- it's just a confidence thing maybe start small over something that is not as hard if you fall like a shoe or hat etc.
I just learned how to Ollie wile moving and was having the same problem as you. The best tips I can give is make sure that you don't rush the board back to the ground and also try going a bit faster. When I go faster my Ollie's feel better. I'm sure that is a preference tho. Good luck
Go really slow and come to a stop and then ollie. It builds the confidence of pushing and ollieing while moving, then go slow at a comfortable pace and ollie. Don't change speeds each attempt, it will throw you off. Just keep going slow and you will get it. Also, don't try to do a super high ollie while moving yet. Smaller ollies are easier to control. You got it!!!
Don't think if it really as a slide of the front foot, think of it as jumping at your nose right as you pop. That's what I kinda do.
Just go fast and commit
try to do the ollie just before you reach the object of the object to jump. Tip-1: pop very hard Tip-2: try to jump small objects firt like a ledge Tip-3 Ignore the fear . Think that you can jump Tip-4 : train
Go Fast And Commit #BrailleArmy 😇
When i ollie i dont really think about going over anything i just think im on flatground no going over any obstacles on the ground😊hoped this helped
Try to jump forward on over the brick also try to do it 1 foot from the brick depending on how much speed do you have
Start getting low when you 6 I’m away from the brick then pop
Move forwards a tiny bit more forward each time you do it then after you do that try jumping over a book or something small go up I size each time. I hoped I helped ☝️😀
Go fast and commit to the Ollie once you do it one time you will land it a bunch also try to Ollie down stuff before over.
You should try to work your way up, then go over the brick. You should do small slow ollies, then faster, and faster. Eventually go over something.
When i do ollie i put my back leg in the mebel of the tale thet make me highter and also i lean on my front leg and then i can ollie over things good luck
Commit
Ok so what you wanna do is... First Ollie regularly then try to push the board forward when at the peak of the Ollie... That should even out the board. And go as fast as you can, but not like 2000000000000 miles an hour😁
Put your front foot right before the bolts and you back foot on your toes kinda like in the middle back pop it and slide your front foot directly up the nose of the board
Pop sooner before you Ollie and for moving it will come over time just keep practicing
Practice
Start small don’t pop as hard first time doing one. That means like don’t sink really low first time trying.
Just keep practicing and watch Braille YouTube channel to help you
What I did, was I started really slow and tried to ollie and then I would draw a line with a rock in the road/pavement and tried to ollie over it while moving. Afterwards I put a small piece of wood on the line, then a bigger one once I had gotten jumping over the small one down and so on. Hope this helped🤙
Practice more
Just go at comfortable speed and try
Try ollieing off a curb first. That teaches you the timing necessary to Ollie over an obstacle. (The front trucks should leave the ground right before you Ollie over or off something)
Go faster and pop sooner like befor you think you need to
Fuck mean fuck who
Practice doing Ollie on a low obstacle, maybe 1 stair or manual box or smth like that. It really helped me to learn how to do Ollie while moving
Just try doing it later like when your about to touch it.
Need help with your Ollie all you need to do is pop the tail of board and left the right foot and now you can your Ollie right
Try to just do one push on your bord and do a Ollie learn to adapt to it then once you get that down go on flat ground and try to jump as high as you can and the lady step is to put them together the main thing you have to have is confidence
It's best to pop your tail down right when your about it hit it for me it's better to do it to late than to early
The moving bit learn to pop and move then try the ollie
You need to slide your front foot up so the board can even out In the air
And remember to always look at the obstacle to well time it
First try ollieing when you mive without ollieing over something
Hi
Learning tricks while standing still is okay but once you land quickly move on to doing the same trick rolling. Practicing a trick standing still can become challenging when you do it rolling due to different motions. To help, try doing the Ollie as if you're jumping forwards (towards your front foot) and then gradually practice it rolling
Put your foot more forward
Take your firth leg some near center.Good luck
Do the exact same thing but kick your bord
Commitment practice pushing slow then pop an Ollie and over time speed up that’s how I learnt
So your position is wrong on skateboard
While moving you want to make sure your foot slides with the board and your back foot comes off the ground after the pop. Usually what I had struggle with was not sliding my foot and I would never get off the ground because my back foot held the board to the ground causing me to fly forward without the board.
I honestly say that you should practice get in the foot position you use and practice timing with small gaps I honestly think it give you the chance to work on get up while moving
Get more comfortable doing it. You should try doing super slow, like just inching down the sidewalk. You shouldnt try to jump stuff just yet, but youll get to it. Just try to build your way up speed wise before you get fancy.
Maybe try putting your front foot more on the bolts but only cover two until you get more comfortable popping while rolling and try getting comfortable with popping the tail by just standing and snapping the tail down with your front foot off to get the pop motions locked for back foot
Try going slow and then go a little bit faster each time
Try to put your front foot further up the board and when you go to slide your foot move your whole body weight forward
All you really need to do is keep practicing when the board is not moving and then once you can do it without thinking you should roll the board really slowly and have no obstacle to Ollie over
Try to do an ollie going as slow as possible and build a gradient from there on
Practice practice practice
Just completely ignore that you moving.
Just start with little Baby ollies while moving,
then work your way up from there .....make Sure your shoulders are straight and dont overshoot your frontfood......when your ollie is too late, practise to ollie while a Good amount of speed.....then you can ollie as early as you can because you have enough speed to still make it over
Hope i can help you with this 😃
I had the same problem, start by ollieing over cracks in the street to get the feeling and motion while moving. Once you feel all wheels come off the ground your making progress and then go up to the next step such as ollieing over a stick. Just keep at it your confidence will grow and your ollies will get higher and feel more comfortable. Hope that helps a bit. 😏
Practice practice
What you need to do is try to keep you body and shoulders square and pop early
Get super comfortable with your riding. That helped me a lot
https://riders.co/p/L9YEAAYQ
Ollie over lower things and move slow then get faster
Try something smaller like a book then work up try to pop the back a little more
Ride your board and get comfortable. I had the same problem.
Start moving slow and not popping the tail as hard. once you have that you can increase your speed and pop harder. Then you can ollie obstacles.
It's all about practice that's the key practice, practice, practice good luck
Start doing it while moving but not over anything and then when you get comfortable you can Ollie over a brick
When you are going to Ollie something, it really helps to look at the obstacle not your feet and when u get close enough just Ollie and don't hesitate or get scared
Just keep riding around, get use to ur board.
First of all you mustnt start ollieing over something not even a small crack cause its way harder when you are a beginner and second try barely moving you have to go extremely slow to do it . Good luck
Just keep olleing over it then move up to more stuff once you have the brick comfortable an pratice ur ollies alot
When your trying a moving Ollie you don’t need a lot of speed so try going a bit slower
Go fast eat glass
Just stay level on top of your
board don't lean forward or backwards
Practise makes perfect
Maybe your leaning slightly back while your riding and doing the ollie try staying balanced make sure to set up for the ollie pop the board then flick it
Make sure to bend your knees and most importantly keep your shoulders in line with the board! 🤙🏽
Try going very slow and Ollie over a crack then try off a curb or over a 2 by 4
I'd start to try and ollie slow and short then progress faster and short then once you're comfortable with speedy and shot Ollie's go higher and slow then higher and faster.
Practice
Sorry I don't have tips because I can only Ollie while moving
Pay attention to snap your tail hard enough.!
Do it without the brick first then with the brick
do it earlier
Try to ollie over a crack or you can ollie in to grass so if fall you dont get hurt
My big issue is that when riding forward I turn my shoulders forward but really should be having them over the bolts. Where your shoulders are, your legs will surely follow.
Try ollieing over a crack in the pavement first and then move to the brick.
Just do it without thinking
.
Put your front foot in the middle of the board and your back foot over alot of the tail so your comfort jumping and landing is better odds
Before u jump over it look at it, and then look at ur board, and do it
Try to snap your tail. Also slide.
Ι personally suggest to get started on ollie overs with small things like a piece of rope just to get the feeling of having a target and ollie over it

Lean forward and bring your back foot up as high as you can. Also make sure your shoulders are parallel with the board.
Think about all of them together and then you do this
Practice moving but go up hill it some how helps. With Ollie en up/over something try small and get bigger
Do it
Just do it
Do it and commit

Quick pop and jump with body
Well if ur practicing in flat, and not in a crack, you should get it down.
Try moving slowly and only doing a small Ollie
Learn nollies first
Ollie before you think you need to
Practice makes perfect man
Start by trying to ollie over cracks in the ground and stuff like that...do the same thing u do when u ollie without moving
Pretend you are ollieing on flat but go fast
Just commit and where knee pads that way u can keep practicing till u get the timing right. I would love to see how ur getting on
Thing is how fast are you moving if you practice the ollie while moving slowly you may get it right thats how i landed mine
Practice by going very slow at once
Skater trainers
First try to just pop the board while moving. Then you should only pop and slide. Finally try to do an Ollie. PS: you can use this tip to learn how to Ollie stationary
Just practice it will come over time
What i did to get my Ollie down while moving I just started with a small piece of wood that was thick enough to jump on to and I would just practice Ollie on to it until I got that down then move to something bigger and bigger until I got to curbs once you get the first one down it's a lot easier from there hope I can help
Dont give up
Try to Ollie over cracks and practice the timing
Try to Ollie over cracks and practice the timing
Keep your eyes on the obstacle
You just have to build the muscle memory I think
Practice, practice and practice.
I learned to do an ollie while moving by popping and scrapping my show less, that way I could do a small ollie while moving and not loose my balance. After you are comfortable with that, try jumping higher. If you want to jump over an obstacle, you need to pop the board when the nose is close to the obstacle. I hope these tips helped you.
When u ollie over or down something start popping when your nose is like a few inches from the object or gap
Same
It’s all about timing!! Good luck!
Timing and jumping forward is key to rolling ollie
Start earlier
When you’re moving, just try to land over the bolts, and look at the brick as you ride up to it to help time it right. Hope this helps!
U can try to ride very slower and tge ollie is like a not-moving ollie and them u can try rolling faster
Pop way earlier than you think you need to!
Just commit
Ollie earlier 😂 good luck
Just get it down
Sucka dikk
Try to lean forward a little bit
Try to do an Ollie over something that If u were to land on it it wouldn’t throw you off ur board like a paper cup
Yea don’t be late Jkjk, try to time hitting the ground just right
Then five did even four then three people are better than two because one sucks
First learn ollie moving try it slow then speed up, start ollieing over cracks then work your way up.
Start riding slow and then speed up ollie over a crack in the road or draw a line on the concrete
Just take your time and work up to it by doing your Ollie over cracks!
Just try ur best
Pop faster
Try to launch more horizontally and angled
Focus on your front ankle, because when u Ollie stationary your ankle turns and slides up the front of the board so focus on that aspect while moving and slowing go faster and faster each time. Helped me so hope it do good for u.
try ollieing the brink into grass first so you can get comfortable comitting while rolling
Ollie when your nose is a couple of inches away from the brick and also really focus on sliding your foot up far to move your board up and lean for ward to keep you balance while moving
When you are moving, you have to be balanced properly. Don’t lean forward, don’t lean back.
Just pick a crack on the side walk to start with. That way your not thinking about having to get up and over something then move on to the brick it object
Just keep on practicing.
Breath out when you ollie to like set that timer to ollie. Over something
Raise you back foot as you have more pop force
Timing is everything keep working on your Ollie over the small things then build up to the bigger things. Practise makes perfect so try to nail your Ollie while moving before going over a brick 🧱:) hope this helps
Pop it harder bro
Just get speed that's what I did and commit
Just keep practicing and you’ll get it eventually. Every pro was once a beginner.
do it

Ollie whilst leaning forward, remember your foot towards the nose and jump as if you are jumping over something👊
Just do it 👍👍👍

Think of snap as raising the nose over the obstacle. You have to lift both feet high enough to get your wheels over the obstacle, and you have to take off before the obstacle. You also have to go fast enough. Practice ollies up and down curbs before over stuff.
Practice over a line first and the timing and when you master your timing do something solid
Practice rolling toward grass and off the the sidewalk onto grass.
i had this problem too, i just focused on my ollie balance and also focused on the basic movement of the ollie. while moving you have to make sure the tail doesn’t scrape when you go for a pop, just let it tap for the perfect pop. when it comes to the brick all you have to do is commit and if your doing it late then try earlier. youll just need to get use to the timing
When your bord is close to the brick and ollie but if that does not work preactice olliing higher
Wait until your nose is next to the brick, then try to ollie it. Also, don't forget to bend your knees
🫨
Honestly your best bet is to just ollie moving, and I know that might sound stupid based on your question, but just keep on ollieing while moving bur just think that your doing it flat. If you get your feet into position there's no difference just keep doing it.
Go to a Crack and pop when your nose gets to the crack
Love me
Try to Ollie over something smaller first like a crack or a line until your Ollie’s are consistent and high then try to work your way up
just keep trying
