I don't know how to simultaneously kick flip and fs shuvit at the same time because the board gets stuck. Help.

I barely flick, I focus more on popping down and forward to get the flip, and I get them pretty vertical

You should watch a youtube tutorial. It helps a lot

It's more of a vertical fs shuv rather than a normal shuv, try just popping the board completely vertical and just give it s little flick with your front foot to make it do the kick flip
