I can spin the board but I can't 180 and land on the board

I dont know if this will help but the way i do the trick is i start the body varial first and only shove the board when a quarter of the body varial is done. Hope it helps.

Just spin you're body halfway and then once you get that you can go more and more until you get it. That's what I did when I had the same problem

So the way i learned it was i got fakie 360 popshuvs down and then tried to start 180 body verting it. At first my board didn’t do the 360 more of a 270 and got the 180 body vert down with it and as i got used to it the 360 shove came as it was. Good luck on trying to learn it :)
Try winding up your shoulders more
Pop a 90 degrés
Do more pop
Do the turn and neer the end of the turn then shove
Do it like a back 180 that you put some extra shuv into not like a 360 shuv body varial
Try to land it with 90 degrees rotation first
Try to pivot
you have to prepare the rotation of your shoulders before and make the board spin at the the same time you decide to throw your shoulders, keep practicing !!
Try to overly relax it’s one of the laziest tricks I n skating
