going flat is not to hard getting hurt is all part of the sport. get comfortable on you’re bored, gain confidence on it then try some basics.

Wear an extra hoodie for a bit of extra padding. Also learn how to fall without hurting yourself

If you ride your board around more and more. You will be more comfortable riding your board and you will eventually build up the courage to start trying tricks. Or you could try to practice on grass (you won’t get a lot of pop though). Hope that helps

You just need to do it. Fear is just a bunch of chemicals in your head.

Just do it slowly. Do things bit by but on concrete and then you will get used to it

Seems like it’s just a commitment issue because your scared of the hard ground. I would take it to some plywood in the yard or some hard dirt. I don’t recommend learning tricks stationary because they are harder to do when rolling in my opinion.

Maybe try grass or wear some pads

I grew up learning just how to ride on really bad streets to get to work n school n such. Once I got to concrete n felt how smooth it felt it seemed like a blessing. Maybe if you just ride around more n get comfortable on the smooth concrete ur confidence will come. It’s much more slidey than street but trust me it’s worth it and u can learn to do new tricks such as power sliding, which concrete makes much easier

Don't think about the concrete. Just try the trick.

Just do it
I started on grass but then I slowly moved to the road!
Put ur wheel in a crack so u don’t roll out while ur popping ur Ollie
I go on the grass if I was learning a trick.
Just ride around for awhile until you feel comfortable. Also get a helmet don’t matter what other mfs think you can take off the helmet once you feel comfortable enough also learn to roll. Don’t fall on your wrists. Pain is part of the sport tho good luck!
just get use to the board and learn how to bail safely if the board slips
