How do I get my trucks off the coping with out them catching?

Learn to balance on back truck as you come up and down the transition. This will help you understand when to lift off front trucks and avoid hanging them up

Just lift your front foot and put it back down after rolling down over the coping

After waiting half a second to a second of rocking, when you go back down push down on the tail and raise your front foot ever so slightly and then catch it again and roll away. Remeber to transfer your weight to the back foot as you leave the ramp or the board will fly out from under neath you. Good luck

Put some pressure on the back of the board and lift up the front truck then lean back down into the ramp. Hope that helps!

Gotta push hard on the tail. All your weight, really fast! No problem!🔥
Let your truck go a little off so you can get them off easily by sliding
Slowly lift them off the coping and transfer your weight into a drop in
Keep your body always on the ramp. Only your front foot make the rock. The rear foot push a little the tail and go manual. Learn first going fakie manual.
Ride up and “kiss” the space past the coping. By “kiss” I mean a light peck/tap with the nose of your board. You can even “kiss” the ramp again once you clear the coping on the ride down. Try and be light on your feet and in your tap until you move to larger skate elements.
You dont have to make your whole board go on the coping, just the front tip so that way you come back down on your own, just stay balanced! So maybe trie with just a litlle less speed
Just make a little manual when you go down
Do an incredibly small kind off “manual”. With that i mean rase your front trucks juste enough to get over the coping.
Just give the tail a little push not to much though or the board will spin out from under you
Lift the front part of your board up
Lean back and lightly press on tail
You need to "rock" on and off the coping
Practice
Practice lifting your front end of the board up and down then do it on the halfpipe or whatever
