How come when I drop in I fall backwards?

You need to lean forward more. And try starting on a smaller ramp
Push down pretty hard on the front foot to put basically almost all you weight forward without falling forward Little weight on back foot when you go in
I rarely see people fall forwards when dropping in. Falling back is normally because of two things. 1. You gatta commit and llleaaannn forward with your whole body. 2. You gatta drive that front foot down and squash the bug. You should be able to hear that snap of the board hitting the pavement
You are leaning backwards when you should be leaning more forwards
Because you might be putting all your weight on your back foot when it needs to be even
Your not leaning forward enough when you drop in
