Find the point inbetween the clipping and over shooting and that's where you'll find the point to slide. Don't forget to put your weight on the nose, lean back a little to slide, and rotate your shoulders to get off. Ps: the more your feet are under the front bolts, the better control of the fs 180. Also the faster your foot will get to nose slide position.

Go straight on with the ledge, about a boards length away. Ollie 90 degrees and put all your weight on your front foot. Keep your shoulders parallel with the board. Come out fakie, regular, or just nollie flip out that shit

Do it slow
Smash your nose into the ledge and hold it you could practice by doing nose stale s
Cool with a lot of wax, smash the nose while the wheels touch the side, and put all your weight on the leg so you can stay on the ledge..
Practice going straight at the ledge and stall on the nose. Then start increasing the angle of your approach. I would come at the ledge at a 45 degree angle and do the same you would stalling and you will slide a little. Wax the front of the ledge where your truck touches.
Barely fs 180 and go at a angle
Try to stay about a foot-and-a-half/2 feet away from the ledge (also ride up at a slight angle). Use your front foot to direct the nose on to the ledge, kinda jam it or bump it right on the ledge. Then, put all your weight on the nose and slide as long as you want. Keep shredding!!
Practise it as a nosestall and then try it as a slide
Don't really think about doing a nose slide do a think more about the 180 because if you focus to much on the nose slide you clip on the ledge but when you feel like your nose is over the ledge smack it down and keep your weight balances
Try to place your foot on the ledge instead of trying to get your board in there...keep a distance...
