Try spinning on your back foot like a ballerina and put that concept to work
*Use shoulders and lean to front foot a little

If you're riding up bank or transition I find it easiest if your upper body is turned to face the top, so make sure your chest is already turned versus still in line with you feet. This way when you kick turn backside, your upper body is already facing away and even down the ramp. Hope not confusing but think of it like your upper body is always 90 degrees ahead of your legs.

Also, just be confident and commit

Try leading with your arms to start the swing around to fs and bs. And keep you knees a little bent. You'll get it in no time. Just keep at it!

Go into it like your doing a 180 but instead if doing an Ollie just pick up your front wheels and don't turn as much. Keep trying and you will figure it out

Just commit

You just have to be confident it's the same action as turning front side you just rotate your shoulders and bring your feet to the backside. Lead with your shoulders follow with your feet

I think the main thing is follow through. Try it without your board and just spin as if you were on your board. It’s the same movement just follow through and find the balance point. After a few tries you should get it. Make sure you practice it regularly too so you can have them automatic

Bend your knees and turn ur shoulders (and head) 90° more, and commit :))
It's all in the shoulder bud
Dont be too stiff just relax and turn all the way,
Its actually really easy like fs its just going back and trun its not gonna be comfortable as fs but ull get used to it . Dont be scared just commit and ull do it 🙃🙃
Try to turn your whole body instead of just your lower body
Just move your board side to side
I find that tightening your back truck can help with balancing while tick tacking. You just have to commit to it and not second guess your body movements. Just push down with enough force to pop the tail and then use your arms and hips to control your spin direction.
Turn with ur shoulders first than lift the front wheels and turn your legs to the position of your shoulders.
You must lower your gravity point near the front foot, so crouch a little forward and your weight will not swirl as your board rotates.
Always ride to the very peak of the transition to give yourself maximum time to turn so you aren’t rushing or panicking
Throug your front shoulder to your back. It you are regular, you will move your left arm to the back and the left, then use that movement as an impulse to rotate 180 degrees bs. If Iyou're goofy, right arm to the back.
Keep working on it on flat ground
Look with your eyes over the shoulder of the direction you are trying to turn. I like to look over the shoulder and at the bottom of the ramp. Hope that helps!
Try swinging your arm and body, and remember, always keep your body the opposite direction of the board.
You want to face the way you want to turn before you do the kick turn
Lean forward for your backside kick turn, and keep your shoulders square
Try just commiting
If I were you I would get the front side kick turn down before even trying the backside kick turn. Just push your tail down and pull your front foot back. Rotate your body with it.
I practiced by do less than 90 then progressing
You need to try to look back as well so that your shoulder and your legs will turn more easily
If you can power slide bs and fs then you can slowly lift your back foot up and then you can lift your back foot up before power sliding and then just keep it in the air until 90 degrees is reached (hope this helps)
