A tip that helped me a lot with manuals is giving you objectives to reach like some random line or curb, anything like that, I would also recommend you to try moving your foot positioning a bit. Just to see if you are more comfortable with another position ! Good luck !

Carry on practicing and change your footing every now then until you’re comfortable with how you ride. Mainly though, just keep practicing.

Really it's all in the balance and all u can really do is practice
And try it with more speed so u get farther
I started really thinking where to put my feet, it’s really just where you can get a good balance and maintain it. Once I had that I thought my manuals were pretty good I could casually do the length of a parking lot. But than I started thinking about my arms, kind of flailing and moving my arms really helped I could bomb hills manualling, when you lose balance move your arms and maybe your hips and you can recover it. It’s weird at first but if you can get it down I can help drastically. I
Make sure you aren’t afraid of putting all of your weight on your back foot. If you have confidence you will be able to balance better!
Do as if you were sit down in the air lifting just a bit your nose of the scooter
You just have to practise...
