Any tips on how to make learning switch more fun? I have too much fun in goofy and so never want to slow down and face the frustration again

Tbh if you skate nollie more it makes switch a little easier to learn. Also have a learning buddy and see who can land the switch trick first. It gives you motivation and it's more fun that way.

Hey i know how you feel i ride goofy and do most gaps and tricks in goofy and cant stop riding goofy because its so good. My Friend rides regular and we always try to ride in each others stance

It's not fun dude you have to relearn how to skate. It sucks

Make little games inside of your head for switch, and don't think of skating switch has relearning tricks, think of it like doing tricks backwards. Use the same exact muscles but in your other leg and it will come quickly

i think you should try starting to ride switch to get comfortable with the feeling and then learn some fakie tricks

I love this question. I'm goofy too. I wonder why I just didn't learn to switch from the beginning. What I'm doing now is alternating between the two stances. I practice being regular for a while, and then I take a break from all the awkwardness by skating goofy. Sometimes I've gotten frustrated not knowing all these tricks. But my difficulties with the basics of regular, has helped me gain more appreciation for the feeling of the wind and however far I've come along skating goofy.
Same here just try to make it fun like do a first one to land it competition
Try to learn few sw tricks like sw ollie, sw fs 180 and maybe sw shuv-it. Then try to make some lines and combinations with these tricks you already know. When i was learning, i was trying go from goofy (fs/bs180) to sw and back (sw fs180)
after that u should do exactly the same thing u do when u ollie normally
because there are the same physics the same feet position etc....hope it helped you :)
I’m working on that rn too. Mainly working on riding/pushing switch but popping about 80% fakie for now. That’s making it not terrible
Just keep practicing once you get them it will be more fun! You will feel accomplished!
