All you have to do is push down on the tail a little bit and rotate the board little back and forth?

Yeah just keep moving your shoulders and letting your legs and board follow. Also make sure to have most of your weight on your back foot. And make sure the tail gets off the ground
Yes! Just push lightly and let your weight sway you side to side
Remember that ita a whole body motion swinging your shoulders helps
YES good jod
Just being able to pivot a little by lifting your nose is a really good start but the real aim is to generate forward motion. The test is whether you can go from standing still to cruising speed without pushing once (even uphill!) I'm able to go faster than the rollerskaters at my local basketball court without pushing once.
Push down on the tail a little not too hard and shift your body with the board while moving it side to side. Try without skating and once you master that, push off and give it a shot while moving.
Don’t push down, lift your weight off your front foot.
yeah but move with your shoulders, spin your body not your feet.
