Stalling on the front peg or on the front of your deck with the back wheel resting on a coping.
How do it
Stalling on your front peg (or the front of your deck) on your scooter with your back wheel resting on the deck or coping. This trick is easiest to learn on a curb first and best to perform on a quarter pipe.
1.
Approach the ramp at a comfortable speed to stall and do not carve.
2.
Turn about 100 degrees and concentrate on locking your front peg into position and getting your back wheel up comfortably on the top of the ramp.
3.
Once locked into position, avoid to much movement as you'll slip out of the stall.
4.
Leaning backwards slightly helps as it takes the weight off of your peg (which is slippery).
5.
Look & lean back into the ramp and hop off the coping, being sure to lift your back wheel over the coping enough.
6.
Balance yourself on your landing and roll away smoothly.
