A stall where you land on your back wheel on the top of a quarter, keeping the front wheel in the air, and jump back into the ramp.
How do it
A stall where you land on your back wheel on top of a quarter pipe, keeping your front wheel in the air and then jumping back into the ramp. You can practice this trick on banks and smaller ramps, before moving onto a quarter pipe.
1.
Approach the quarter pipe with enough speed to jump 90 degrees onto the deck and then jump back in.
2.
Once you're able to do that, try landing directly onto your back wheel.
3.
Don't carve into the tail tap as it will encourage your front wheel to go back down.
4.
Spin 90 degrees into the tail tap, don't spin any more than 90 degrees as you will over rotate when dropping back in.
5.
Keep your balance leaning into the ramp at all times.
6.
When in tail tap, try looking into the transition of the ramp to help shift your weight back in.
7.
Make sure you jump far enough back into the quarter pipe so that you don't hang up on the coping.
8.
Lean forward when going back into the ramp and roll away.
