You wedge your front foot between the fork and the deck to balance on the front wheel.
How do it
Short for "Footjam Nosepick" it is a trick taken from BMX, that is easier to do on an MGP scooter (with foot space). A great trick to add tricks in and out of, the aim is to jam for as long as possible, without hopping. Jam your foot into your front wheel to stall on the nose of your scooter. This trick is easiest to learn either on a flat bank or on a quarter pipe.
1.
Practice the motion of jamming your foot into your front wheel on the floor first.
2.
Approaching the ramp with the correct speed will take some time to practice.
3.
Making sure not to carve, jump out of the quarter pipe and spin 90 degrees on to the top of the deck.
4.
Turn your front wheel slightly to allow your foot/toes to jam on the wheel.
5.
Lean forward and push your front foot/toes into your front wheel (in the gap between your front wheel and the neck of your scooter).
6.
Push your bars forward to help keep your balance.
7.
Look back into the transition of the ramp to help put you in the right direction.
8.
Bunny hop back into the transition, make sure you don't remove your foot too early.
9.
Regain your balance and roll away smoothly.
