A Step Vault performed by going backwards.
How do it
The reverse step vault is identical to the Step Vault, with the difference that the athlete performs it going backwards.
1.
Run towards the obstacle at a controlled pace.
2.
Place one hand (usually the one on your strongest side) on the obstacle.
3.
Take off split legs, if you can, and start rotating your body of 180º, back‑side, using the arm on the obstacle as a pivot.
4.
Put your opposite foot on the obstacle.
5.
Make your take off leg go through the hand and and foot that you placed on the obstacle.
6.
Land with with the take off leg.
7.
Release the hand and run out.
