Step up the face of a wall in order to grab the top of it, transfering your horizontal momentum into vertical.
How do it
The pop vault or wall pop is useful to get over obstacles too high for most vaults. This move will transfer your horizontal momentum into vertical momentum.
1.
Run towards the obstacle.
2.
When near the obstacle, take off with one leg, as you would be doing in a normal jump, and plant the ball of your opposite feet on the side of the obstacle, slightly higher than hip level.
3.
Bend the knee of the leg that is on the obstacle, and push up.
4.
Bring the take off leg's knee up, towards your upper body. This will give you extra lift.
5.
Using the vertical momentum created, pull yourself over the top of the obstacle and perform one of the basic vaults you know, such as lazy vault or step vault.
6.
Land and run away.
