A skidding motion performed with your rear tire, can be done on any obstacle.
How do it
A cool move — graze your rear wheel against the coping or any obstacle in the park or in the street.
1.
Practice this trick by doing a transfer jump in the quarter. It will work best if the surface you'll be using for the slide is lower than the quarter you'll be going out of.
2.
During the transfer bring out your rear wheel with your legs straight. Your bike should be at an almost 90 degree angle to the quarter.
3.
Once you hit or slide over the coping, bring up your rear wheel by bending your knees.
4.
If you feel you've hooked the coping and are falling over, bring your weight back and draw away the handlebars.
